Any updates on Farage’s gleeful anticipation of “a teachers’ strike very quickly after winning the next general election”? Surely most parents will be happy to take time off work or pay for childcare because Nigel thinks teachers are “Marxists”.

“(Ghost) Riders in the Sky” is a classic American song & its writer – Stan Jones – was born today in 1914. During his career in the mid-20th century, Jones frequently worked alongside film directing legend John Ford (1894-1973), penning both theme & incidental music for Ford. Jones passed in 1963.
