I missed WIP Wednesday, but this week I somehow ended up writing 2.5k in a file labeled "ryuji would be having a threesome if ren and akechi were normal"

(idk the shipname for these three. I was just struck by the potential for sex comedy with post-canon Ryuji exploring his bisexuality)
Exiting the bathroom draws the immediate disapproving gaze of Akechi. "Why are your underwear on?" he asks, in the same tone he might use to point out that someone forget to take their shoes off when entering his apartment. "Are you getting cold feet already?" Like a hypocrite, Akechi is still wearing his t-shirt and lounge pants. Ryuji sets both hands on his hips. "Hell no. Are you?" Akechi rolls his eyes. "Of course not. Now take those off and go lie on your back." Before Ryuji can ask any followup questions, Ren slides open the door to the one private room in the 1DK apartment and, with the panache of a game show host, gestures toward the revealed bed. Ryuji stiffens; he didn't think through the details of how this was going to go down, but he wouldn't have guessed the bed would be involved. There's a towel spread over the bottom sheet, and everything else has been stripped off, so it looks like Ren's not just fucking around. "Huh," Ryuji says. Akechi looks at him like a bird sizing up whether it needs to dive-bomb him for getting too close to its nest. "Is there a problem?" "Nah, I was just expecting you to tell me to get on, I dunno, the floor? The balcony?" "Sakamoto," Akechi says, drier than sandpaper, "why the fuck would I want to do this out on the goddamn balcony?" According to Ren, Akechi has done this in much more scandalous places, but bringing up any of those stories right now is for sure not the move. So instead of "I heard you got your back blown out on the Ferris Wheel at Seaside Park," Ryuji says, "I just never know with you, man."

I know the answer on the dog kobolds, at least! The earliest D&D design for them looked pretty dog-like, and then Wizardry, which really took off in Japan, had dog kobolds. The later D&D updates to kobold designs didn't catch on in Japan

Felt like attempting art lately, so I tried rendering my vision of the result of Akechi happening to Futaba's Palace at the end of chapter 8 of TFotBotM. Pyramid blocks turning into flashing screens is a lot easier to write than draw, it turns out
