I don't think it is a hot take when I say that Paramount Animation is the worst run mainstream theatrical animation studio of all time.
The fact that it is potentially merging with another badly run animaiton studio with Skydance Animation might be a massive yikes for it...

I'm very disappointed to hear of Paramount's decision to pull The Legend of Aang from theaters and make it a Paramount+ exclusive. I can imagine how dismaying it must've been for the crew of the film and I am disgusted at the execs at Paramount for doing this. Shame on them.

I really would love to see their early versions of that show just to see how badly Lasseter and Ellison mucked it up cause I know it was a lot more daring and bolder and arguably more visually interesting than....what we got. Just terrible how those horrible men treated them.

I feel especially bad for Montgomery as this isn't she got screwed over by execs at Skydance. Ellison and Lasseter fired her off the show WondLa and replaced her with two dudes, a Disney crony and Lasseter's son. Just terrible.

Pixar has announced that Gatto will be released a bit earlier. The film is now scheduled for release on March 5, 2027 rather than June 18th. Considering that Beyond the Spider-Verse is coming out around then, a smart move. Still very hyped to see this new film!

My main goal for 2026 is to try to do more. I really want to make more videos, watch more movies, just really allow myself to do even more amazing things while still making the people I love happy. I have hope things will work out and I really am curious to see where it goes.

And the sad thing is? I have heard that the film itself is not that bad.
But with how the studio has been handling it, how they touted it initially, and how they dealt with it, it will sadly be tainted forever.

Finding out about how Angel has been handling David and how they have been blaming Disney for it has been doing doesn't surprise me at all.
