In some flowers, nectaries are visible & accessible to all visitors. In this Adolphia californica (#Rhamnaceae) the hypanthium is greenish and secretes the nectar. A flower such as this attracts a wide array of visitors for an easy-to-access meal. #nectar #Botany 🌾🧪🌱
