Ok this thread gave me an idea: a 2d array of cells each with some number of possible values. For the sake of demonstration, each cell can be either black or white.

The array is initialized to black to start. Two parameters are given: "defect chance" and "area of effect"
Just had an idea for a game where the central area is completely designed by hand and as you venture farther from it things get more and more procedurally generated

Putus templar MTG cards:
Because there is no leader of the putus templar in-game (maybe there is one in lore that idk about), I decided to make the leader a wraith-knight summoned by a phylactery squire.

These four cards have the oracle text "discard this creature", where a card like Rubblehulk uses the oracle text "discard this card". Is that intentional?
o:"discard this creature"
4 Magic cards found where the text includes “discard this creature”

I'm making a Caves of Qud MTG card every day until I have a fully draftable set. This week was focused on Barathrumites. In lore, barathrumites are a faction of mutant bear tinkers, so their main theme is Artifacts. (1/8)

My most flavorful qud mtg design yet

A couple of Caves of Qud mtg designs based around the mechanic "Unidentified", which allows you to play certain artifacts as Junk tokens which can be scrapped for a card. Kind of like cycling meets morph.
