I've been calling EDD everyday for hours and maybe called about 60 times and kept getting told the line is busy. I paid a website to call for me for $10 and it took several hours but I FINALLY talked to a human.
This is how many attempts their bot made before I got a hold of someone. Like WTF.

I hate having to do this but I’m desperate. I’ve been looking everyday for work but nothing is biting. I’m down $80 and I can’t afford my very needed meds and I definitely can’t afford my home when the first comes next month. I’m drowning in medical debt. Anything helps.
