Donald Trump, in response: “And?”
“The mother of Pete Hegseth wrote him an email in 2018 saying he had routinely mistreated women for years and displayed a lack of character.

‘On behalf of all the women (and I know it’s many) you have abused in some way, I say … get some help and take an honest look at yourself’”
Pete Hegseth’s Mother Accused Her Son of Mistreating Women for Years
Penelope Hegseth made the accusation in an email to her son in 2018, amid his contentious divorce. She said on Friday that she regretted the email and had apologized to him.

Support for Trump’s tariffs means higher prices on everything. Gas, food, housing, everything.

Every politician should be asked if they support higher prices on everything due to Trump’s tariffs.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is a good day to thank undocumented immigrants.
🦃 3/4 of them are essential workers vital to keeping our country running.

They make up:
📌 23% of construction workers
📌 40%–55% of agriculture workers
📌 25% of food preparation & serving workers
📌 8% of healthcare workers

Suggestion: This year, show those without empathy what we can do. Instead of plastic toys, another tie, or tchotchke, donate your money to those in need. I am giving to the North Carolina relief effort. Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s 4:53 am and I’m tired and cannot sleep. I cooked until late last night, went to bed, and only tossed & turned.
Played Bejeweled for an hour, got up and washed blueberries for scones/breakfast, & made some coffee.

It’s going to be a long day! I’m happy to have family together again.

Since not a day goes by without someone saying I’m “just another big account that doesn’t say what to do.” I’ll once again say what I think you can do.
1) 30 states have local/state elections starting in Feb. Get involved/run.
2) Join a special issue group like civil rights, abortion or immigrant

Michael Ian Black: I Am Grateful for So Much That Isn’t Donald Trump
Trump’s is an America powered by resentment, not gratitude, which makes it doubly stinging to give thanks this year. Even so, I don’t have to look very hard to find things for which I am thankful.

So let me get this straight.

If you apply for a job at a grocery store, you have to undergo a background check.

But, if you apply to be Director of National Intelligence, you don't?

Got it.

I would like to speak up today for the trans community.

You see, I know a bit of what it’s like to be politically scapegoated. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, suddenly anyone in America who had any amount of Japanese ancestry became suspect. Politicians preyed upon ignorance and fear. /1
