This is a reply to someone asking people to pay attention the words they use… I don’t want to go off at someone else in their comments but for crying out loud. This is the ableism we have to fix.

Colored this in and left it behind with the message. "May we all be free to be who we are" - forgot to take a new picture after writing that down though. Hopefully someone appreciates my attempts to do something with pride colors though I started out focusing on #AroAce #Agender colors

I decided to check out the nearby indoor climbing gym (used to do it with some friends years ago before I moved to Massachusetts). While I do still like climbing I do not trust the auto-belays enough to come down with them so I only climbed a few feet up to practice falling bit / climbed back down

Making food! I think the diced tomatoes are way to big and I might change the vegetables a bit next time but so far so good. The line between simmering and boiling is tricky!

I've seen the reports that the National Institutes of Health will partner with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid to create a database of Americans with autism, using insurance claims, medical records and smartwatch data. This is no different than HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s previous statements about creating a database. And again this is both a violation of privacy and extremely dangerous. As I said originally, we don't need a situation where people are registered as being autistic and having that used against them. And it will be used against them in any number of ways. I would not want my records in the hands of people that clearly don't want me to exist. It's very obvious that RFK Jr. seeks to eliminate anyone with Autism and insure that others with disabilities or chronic illness are segregated from society. Please do whatever it takes to help protect all of this from this violation of our privacy and safety. Please follow the lead of Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois who issued an Executive Order to safeguard the rights of those with autism and other medical conditions in this state. We all need this kind of protection. No one should have the right to access our data to use it against us.

While I'm glad my Op-Ed was published I am a still annoyed they made me change my statement about RFK Jr being responsible for the current measles cases and the vitamin A overdoses to "may have contributed to" - It's his fucking fault! You can't tell me otherwise.
It’s well known that Secretary Kennedy, and the Trump administration, have a long history of promoting misinformation about vaccines and autism — a link that has been repeatedly debunked. There is nothing sincere about this attempt to find a cause for the so-called “autism epidemic.” It merely seems like an opportunity to prove his long-held beliefs that vaccines are the cause. His history of being anti-vaccination may have contributed to the current measles outbreak in Texas, which has since spread to five other states around the country. His statements about taking vitamin A as an alternative remedy to fight measles may have also contributed to children becoming overdosed with vitamin A.

And regarding the disease registry this is what I just sent to both my state and federal legislature:
I've just seen the CBS news article titled "RFK Jr.'s autism study to amass medical records of many Americans" which includes the creation of a new disease registry to track Americans with autism. This is both a violation f privacy and extremely dangerous. We don't need a situation where people are registered as being autistic and having that used against them. And it will be used against them in any number of ways. I would not want my records in the hands of people that clearly don't want me to exist. It's very obvious that RFK Jr. seeks to eliminate anyone with Autism and insure that others with disabilities or chronic illness are segregated from society.

I guess it's still winter.... Clearly March didn't have enough snow so weather decided we needed an April snow storm.... Nice.

Spring in New England ... gotta love it! I would argue this is March weather instead of April weather but not entirely unexpected. After all the seasons are actually, Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter and Construction.
