Nothing profound to write – just try to point out reality. Hate Brexit – no time for its proponents.

Here I was, thinking Gibberish was a thing long before Robbie Gibb was thrust into the limelight by Theresa May.

As someone who, (without a 'fat-suit) in 1992 won a movie themed fancy dress at a sales conference in Juan-les-Pins, I'll never cast aspersions. 😏
It's etched in my memory: prize was a bottle of champagne on the night and a £100 declaration on my employer's P11 for me, the following Mar/April. 🙄

Tbh, my opinion on this hasn't changed in months. How can Joe Public be 100% confident that on what the UKG is briefing the media, the subsequent reports will be remotely accurate? It can't! The reports will just have the usual slant/misinformation provided by the media.

If Starmer wants to improve UKG comm's, all he'd need to do is televise the daily lobby briefings… a professional version of the 'Bimbo Karoline Leave-it' show, if you like – so that Joe Public can hear the messages first hand, rather than being fed the biased and toxic bile of the UK media.
Starmer's ability to discern what's right hits sub-zero.
Imagine hiring someone for Labour comms (ex-Sun editor) who previously allowed articles about using gunships to stop migrants to go out on his watch.

That Labour states things hoping it will happen, is quite true. Reeves keeps on about investment and its benefits, but ONS data shows that it has been relatively flat since 2023 and only marginally greater than 2020. Changing its policy on Brexit would help confidence and increase investment.

That's weird. If Labour wants to cut 'red tape', maybe it should not be averse to the EU. How much red tape has been added as a result of Brexit? (That's rhetorical ofc).
Although 'paying' EU membership (which included fees for the bureaucracy), at least UK had considerable reciprocal benefits.

3. Blitz on red tape!

5. Go to 1.
Currently we’re between 3 and 4. I’m confident we’ll be back at 1 by Christmas.
