Ableism teaches us that disabled people are “less than”. That they’re lazy or not trying hard enough.

Disability can & does happen to anyone. It doesn’t matter how hard you try or how much you “want” to be well.

We all deserve compassion & worth should never be based on economic contribution.

The most iconic figure in the environmental sciences is the Keeling Curve, the CO₂ record from Mauna Loa, Hawaii.

@noaa.gov had a wonderful site where you could visualize and download these data, and now it's just gone. These data belong to us and we should not let this happen!

A lot of us aren't doing "ok." We are going to have to share this weight with each other. Alone ain't sustainable.

When the dog is sleeping in the bed, I always wish he would point his face at me instead of his butt. But then I remember reading that they do that because they have to face outward to protect you. And then I tell him loudly in his ear, “THERE AREN’T ANY LIONS.” Then we just go to sleep.

my brain has been running amuck today, y’all! 🫠

a lot of self-doubt, uncertainty, sadness, negativity; yet there are moments of hopefulness. i’m trying really hard to hold onto that hope!

i’m sharing this with you in case anyone else has been struggling with this.

you aren’t alone, i see you! 💕🫂
