I made a joke about the metaphors being heavy-handed yesterday, but this somehow encapsulates everything. The president is wrecking a structure he does not understand and does not appreciate and does not value to build something ugly and self-serving in its place.

I was sad about the Rose Garden, but that could have been fixed.
We can't just rebuild the East Wing, especially when they aren't deconstructing w/ any historical preservation in mind. I mean... hell, why wouldn't you at least AUCTION some bricks for the public good or send 1 brick to every state?
