I don't know whose cat this is, or if he's even real, but I feel like he'd been super sweet about explaining macroeconomics to me,troubleshooting the connection issues with my work headset, and not even get upset when I tease him about his hipster 'stache

Heyyyyyyyy. I'm here, again. I was scarce because I had major spinal surgery 3 weeks ago, and I couldn't juggle more than one thing at a time. I probably still can't, or shouldn't, but here I am, trying anyway.

It's a good thing I love it, so I kinda enjoy the full immersion of late, but it leaves me little time for fucking off

See you soon, I hope

I almost never brag, but can I say, this review of "So Quick Bright Things Come to Confusion" is AWESOME?
I am not even related to this person. I don't even know them, and they said:
"Fantastic. This book left me walking around the living room muttering, Wow. WOW."

Friends was absolute garbage. Seinfeld was absolute hot garbage.

I fell asleep every time I tried to watch Citizen Kane. I thought The Two Jakes was more interesting than Chinatown.
So... what’s your “I did not care for the Godfather”?

Not that anyone asked me, but this is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT CORRECT IN EVERY WAY
You now have a Black woman who has published more Black authors at a magazine in her brief tenure than the publication has in its entire 75 years of existence, whose entire career has been dedicated to the diversification of the field fending off accusations of fascism by people who know nothing.

Writers, you'll never enjoy longevity if you don't take yourself out of your work. You wrote it, sure. But beyond that, it actually has v v little to do with you.
Your work leaves your hands and lives a whole other life.
Oh, we gotta say this here too?

Authors: Reviews. Are not. For you.

No, not even you.
Hear me out: what if authors left reviewers the f*ck alone? Like, it’s just a thought, but what if authors didn’t argue with reviewers they disagreed with? What if authors DIDN’T bully reviewers who disliked their work? (Yes, I’m absolutely subposting.)
