Prior to Trump's meeting with President Zelenskyy yesterday, Trump called Putin to receive his talking points. This is how Trump handles everything. Talking points from his influencers, because he is to stupid to figure anything out on his own. Trump is a puppet of many many people. Just wind him up

Before every meeting or even phone call with Zelinskyy, Trump first calls Putin. That should tell you something.

It is a strictly one-way street since he never calls Zelinskyy, EU leaders, or anyone else before talking with Putin.

Clearly, Putin's approval matters to him.

We’re mad, yes. He threatened our sovereignty. You went to “economic war”( Warren Buffett) w/Canada

But it’s more than being mad. We’re scared of what you’re turning into.

We feel like we are Poland in the late 30s. We know you are on the precipice of atrocities #naziamerica

Do we know what the #Felon47 ‘s two-hour call today to Putin (the war criminal) entailed?

We can pretty well guess that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is going to have to make concessions while Putin will not.

I get this and I fully support it, artists should never feel forced to perform somewhere they aren't comfortable

But it also irritates me that this is exactly what the fascists want, less art in fewer places, silenced voices

Painful but necessary for sure
Issa Rae has canceled her sold out performance at the Kennedy Center. Pulitzer Prize winner Rhiannon Giddens, Peter Wolf, Low Cut Connie, and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C., have also canceled. Lin-Manuel Miranda has canceled the entire Kennedy Center run of Hamilton.

In 2024, the far right outspent us 10:1 in youth outreach and persuasion.

So for my 24th birthday next week, I'm trying to raise $24,000 to support VOT's 2026 program and make sure there's not a repeat;

Can you chip $24 to help me get there?

The “worst of the worst” Venezuelans deported to El Salvador’s CECOT prison weren’t the worst: nearly all had no violent convictions, many entered the US legally, and gang labels relied on tattoos—not evidence, reports Cato’s David Bier.

DHS Doesn’t List CECOT Prison Deportees in Its Worst of the Worst Data
The United States should have allowed most of these immigrants to reside and work in the country legally. They could have been economic assets to the United States, and it serves no legitimate purpose to send them back to, at best, horrific conditions in Venezuela and, at worst, more persecution.

It wants opponents to overreach, to panic, to force a confrontation that can be framed as persecution or civilizational war. That's its advantage. Sit with this: if this report is accurate, this child was horrifically abused. I wonder whether she’s been able to build any kind of life for herself.
