labor component of a CFA sandwich is 50 cents higher per sandwich than a fast food burger. They have to employ more people to make the same quantity of food. A chicken sandwich is an incredibly poor plug and play option into the burger restaurant model

(I have a friend who works for CFA corporate)

This thread is absolutely doing absurd numbers on Netflix
“You see these grades? You see this All-American patch?? You see this Ray Guy finalist trophy??? IT STILL ALMOST WASN’T ENOUGH, I HAD TO GET LUCKY TOO. Now drop to your goddamn hands and knees and give me a five page essay on why Reconstruction failed!”

Earnestly, having 9 years of experience being the parent of young children and all the moody, impulsive phases they’ve gone through has made me much better-prepared for Trump 2.0 than I felt in 2017.

Learning how to deal with peers and building resiliency when things don’t go your way… Huge benefits to participating in youth sports in addition to getting to goof around with your friends
As the parent of a ~7 and 9-year old in baseball/softball/basketball I would not get discouraged. Some kids are ahead of others, sure, but every single experience we’ve had so far has been positive, and coaches/“dugout dads” really try hard to help out the kids who are still learning.
I coach 5-6 year-olds in soccer and 7-8 year-olds in basketball in suburban Phoenix, and let me tell you, the games don't look like they did 30 years ago. The skill level is so extraordinarily high that kids who haven't started playing by 6 are almost too far behind to catch up.
