The same people who lost their minds over renovations to Cracker Barrel are totally fine with the White House getting bulldozed

The president said, in a televised speech, that he's sending his new, less restrained, more violent military into US cities to practice their brutality on immigrants and minorities, to better train them to apply that brutality to other countries.

He said this out loud.

It's really distressing that we've normalized everyone just pointing to their own fantasy facts, without any social or political repercussions for flatly lying.

Genuinely insane how they have radicalized themselves into honestly believing that every person here on a visa is on welfare or in MS-13 instead of what they are actually doing which is keeping the economy afloat

It’s a shame that so many Republicans vote for something they know will hurt their constituents & the country simply because they are afraid that Trump will threaten them if they don’t go along with it, & they are more concerned about his vindictiveness than they are about them.

if I ran a Star Wars campaign I would set it just after the destruction of the first Death Star, and have only A New Hope and Andor be canon. The Jedi were a weird and secretive order that nobody knew about! The Emperor isn't a Sith Lord, and the fate of the galaxy is much bigger than the Force.
Once again, I thank everyone for the good ideas for my future star wars ttrpg campaign

Trump’s sputtering response to Harvard standing up to him is yet another reason why institutions should refuse to bend the knee. He’s a paper tiger, unable to argue his own case.

There are 33m companies in the USA. Only 21k employe 500 or more. And they only make up 23% of workers.

Trump and Elon are ignoring the more than 32m entrepreneurs that can't afford to build a new factory or pay tariffs or absorb cancelled contracts.

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

The literal wealthiest man in the world donating hundreds of millions of dollars to a presidential campaign and getting rewarded with a government post where he can award his companies with contracts is the most cartoonish possible rendering of what people warned about after Citizens United.

The Republicans hold majorities in both houses of Congress and the Supreme Court and hold the White House and they could pass basically whatever agenda they would care to enact, but they have instead decided on a unique strategy of letting someone unelected do crimes all over the federal government.
