Can someone in immigration law explain to me how this is legal?
When ICE agents look like this, it is ENTIRELY APPROPRIATE for state and local law enforcement to step in and demand they identify themselves and show judicial warrants before detaining anyone from an immigration court.
Democratic mayor and governors can take action on this.

ICE can't deploy in large enough numbers not to be overrun. In LA tonight they were outnumbered what appeared 50:1 or more. They'd need several hundred to each raid to make it work. They aren't trained in crowd control. It will end badly for ICE. The raids aren't sustainable.
