If the Australian govt actually adopts the IHRA's definition of anti-Semitism I'm not sure I want to live in this world anymore.

Not choosing a side is choosing the side of the oppressor. There's no such thing as impartial in politics. Centrism only means maintaining the status quo, and in a Capitalist society the status quo has never and will never be on the side of the people;

I never thought I'd say this but if everybody knew what it was like to wake up every single day in enough pain and fatigue to send the average person to hospital the world would be a better place.

No, crime rates are not on the rise in Melb. Per capita the long term downward trend remains the same; I.e. the data doesn't correlate with the propaganda being peddled by the usual suspects. They're either whipping up hysteria for political point scoring or want to justify increased police powers.

I'm surprised they even mentioned the fact that the government has (so far) invested more than $550 million dollars to make this happen. Do Labor not see the irony in their actions or do they think the general public is too stupid to notice?

The government hasn’t hired enough members to make the Administrative Review Tribunal run properly and instead of hiring more their plan is to remove rights from people bringing cases instead. Why should ordinary people pay for government failures like this?!

I really hope that by now most people are finally asking themselves if this is what it's supposed to be like under Communism, why is it happening under Capitalism? Cuba's life expectancy and literacy rates are higher than that of the USA. As in Cuba, possibly the most Communist country there is?

I also have no nostalgia for the road to fascism, which is a trap I think a lot of liberal and progressive folks are falling into—romanticizing the conditions that preceded this moment of acceleration. The path that led to this mess is not the way out.
