I work with the contingency team as a sniper with a trained invisible ultraviolet dot on that dog's head. If it gets anywhere near an ethernet cord or other networking equipment that could disrupt the stream I have orders to eliminate.

this too! i had a disorienting experience recently where a person my age talked about relying on the google AI answer to determine that edamame was indeed to be eaten like sugar peas (it’s very not) and they were surprised when I uh, laughed (sorry!) and asked why in gods name they trusted the AI
it's jolting how little AI skepticism has reached the general public. i've had many acquaintances ask whether i use AI for research and seem shocked when i tell them it's completely useless for that purpose. my wife recently told her colleagues about hallucinations and it was news to all of them.
