My guess is that Stephen Miller has been lying to Trump about what's happening in Portland and Chicago in order to satisfy his long time desire to rid the country of melanin. Fox helps, but I'd bet a big part of why Trump is so clueless is that Miller is "handling" Trump to fulfill his own agenda.
