My only complaint about the movie The Roses is that it didn't need the SNL over actors. I think that's where the disconnect came for a lot of people. Any time they were on screen, it was an entirely different tone. An entirety different movie

One thing I'm fucken sick of hearing is that people on the poverty line "don't want handouts."
Well, the rich take hand outs. Maybe they're rich bc they were offered handouts. Maybe they're rich bc they take them.

I was in a store yesterday and a woman collapsed and hit her head on a shelf, cutting her head open. We stopped the bleeding while the clerk called 911. When the ambulance showed up, the woman didn’t want to go to the hospital at first bc she was worried about the cost. Picture unrelated.

Was walking to work one day in 2013. Guy riding his bike through an intersection hits a pothole, flies over the handlebars, & faceplants on the pavement. Another woman and I rush over to him, she says "I'll call an ambulance." He gets up, bloodied, says no, he doesn't have insurance & speeds off.
