‘WE MUST NOT LET THE WOKIES DESTROY THE EMBARRASSING PEDO STATUE BECAUSE THAT WOULD LOOK BAD SO LET’S PUT THE PEDO STATUE IN A GLASS BOX SO WE LOOK SANE AND NORMAL AND LIKE OUR PRIORITIES ARE IN THE RIGHT ORDER.’ - the bbc
The fact that at the front of Broadcasting House there is a statue of a man over a child, made by a pedophile, hidden behind glass to protect it from ‘the woke left’ is an absolutely incredible summary of how we’ve got to where we are, and who we think the villains are versus who they actually are.

The right’s thing for so many years was that the left were a bunch of whining, terminally online hysterics obsessed with gestures, symbols and identity politics. But today’s right are a bunch of whining, terminally online hysterics obsessed with gestures, symbols and identity politics.

Martin Odegaard is travelling with Norway in a non-playing role, to support his teammates.
Can't help but think this means he won't be back for Spurs. Would the club let him travel if he was set to return to playing a few days later?

Let us simply not check that figure after they stuck most of the BBC in the US behind a paywall a few months ago to increase revenue at the expense of British soft power and influence.
Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

BBC always caught between rock and hard place here as ‘you’re a bunch of lefty cucks’ is usually a disingenuous accusation put to them by rivals however seeing as their rivals are so often in power and responsible for charter renewal, what can they do?
Newsagents’ deep dive into BBC situ is v level headed and wide ranging. Two things clear: Gibb should be nowhere near the BBC, and BBC general policy for bringing in people like that in a never ending charade to prove themselves not too lefty is weak, and clearly pointless.

A weird article. Surely this is only a headache if you believe every Bond film is sequential to the last which has just… never been true? I guess maybe until the Craig era. But he’s dead. So… new era. Set it in the 80s. Or the 60s. Or the 90s. Who cares?

Second there are years of media commentary about Trump encouraging an attack before the broadcast. So how would a Panorama programme, in Florida, have influenced an average member of the public?

I'm not about to go up against Joshua Rozenberg on legal analysis, but his assessment on Radio 4 right now seems a bit odd. First, BBC player *isn't* available in Florida, is it? That's why you need a vpn to watch the Beeb there.
