An update.

Key notes:
- Been having health problems. Videos will take longer to make.
- Heading into the holidays. Videos may become further in between.
- Thinking about having the second video for the week be something other than DDO.
- Made an Artificer for the B-Side's B-Side.

Stay safe!

The value of reading history is you know that in 1860 there were abolitionists who were so demoralized that they thought chattel slavery would be permanent. 5 years later those still alive had lived to see its end.

Seriously?

The game they chose to advertise the Amazon gaming thing, where they gather a crowd of people around to cheer on a guy playing... Angry Birds?

That's the game you're putting on the big screen TV?

Really?

Burnout is a result of too many braincells attempting to work overtime and getting fired one by one. The rest of the crew can’t pick up the slack, so the production line gets messy. Listen to your internal line manager and make sure the guys upstairs clock out on time!

When they say you get about four hours of good productivity each day, they didn’t tell you that your brain keeps an actual timer on. The moment your four hours are up, that’s it. They shut down the factory. A silent bell rang and all your braincells clocked out. Anyone remaining will be fired.

Wish there was less of a culture of looking aggressive in North America. I'd like to have more vehicles in cute shapes instead on the streets.

What is the best villain that you've had in one of your games / stories?

THIS.

Ridley Scott made a masterpiece with ALIEN. There is no disputing that and he deserves immense praise for it.

But it is worth remembering that he walked into a project that already had an immensely talented team of creatives on it during preproduction...

🧵
When did we decide that Ridley Scott owns the ALIEN franchise? He didn't come up with the story (Dan O'Bannon & Ronald Shusett) or write the script (O'Bannon), nor did he design the creature or sets (H.R. Giger, Ron Cobb, Chris Foss). Scott directed the hell out of it, but he doesn't own it...

One thing I'll say again: if you can, localize your prices. It goes for books, indie games, etc. Everything that is sold in a global marketplace can benefit from taking into account that 20 USD is different for USians and Brazilians.

In case anyone ever asks, I *have* written a material generator and a music generator for Eldritch 2, but that's not AI. That's me taking all the things I personally know about those things, and writing my own tools to make the process a little faster and easier for myself. It's still 100% me, baby.
