someone in a duty told me that the loved my cat girls outfit! (I play an enby character and the model is a male miqo so I've been riding the high of successfully making them ambiguous enough)

Mei isn't the wol so no cart/ship scene at all! they grew up in Limsa and officially joined the story when they followed after the WoL when he was on his way to complete the Titan questline!

Mei is used to being separated from him, but always hates it, since Ash is the one who's the warrior of light, him being gone usually means stress and worry for Mei about him coming home safe

Mei was born and raised in Limsa and had the accent to match, tho it's faded a lot since they left and started speaking more Doman (the accent comes back when they're pissed off tho LOL)

despite being a bad actor/liar when it comes to personal life, when it comes to work Mei is VERY good. being a courtesan meant they got real good and putting on an act for clients and they were often used to get information back and forth from men who used their services lmfao

aubeloix was raised to believe that you shouldnt rely on magic like a crutch, and that it can only get you so far. its important to have good medical knowledge instead. healing magic is only the start of healing naturally! so he only really uses healing magic as sparsely as possible as a philosophy

Mei hated Haurchefant with a passion for managing to win the heart of the WoL, and childishly wished he'd disappear, they carried that guilt after he passed for years to come, and even in present day is haunted by the idea that they don't deserve to be the WoL's spouse bc it should have been him.

mei never finishes their meals and is a poor eater so it's already expected that someone else (their husband) is gonna eat half their meal so they would share fries with ease
