Man kann beklagen, was die Amerikaner in ihre Papiere schreiben oder dass Putin sich nicht rührt. Oder man kann die Stärke Europas endlich nutzen und in den Prozess einbringen. Assets, Schattenflotte, Öl, Gas. Handlungsfähigkeit beweist man am besten dadurch, dass man handelt.

Wenn man einfach irgendwas für Putin und Trump unterschreibt, dann hat man nicht morgen wieder deutsch-russische Freundschaft und übermorgen die Pipelines wieder in Betrieb. Stattdessen gäbe es Millionen Flüchtlinge und Europa wäre allein mit dauerhafter russischer Bedrohung.

Putin versucht jetzt mithilfe der USA politisch zu erreichen, woran er militärisch gescheitert ist. Wir Europäer sind doch aber keine Kleinkinder, die freudig zustimmen und bezahlen, wenn Putin und Trump sich zu unseren Lasten einigen wollen und Frieden in Europa gefährden.

Es ist peinlich, dass so viele politische Akteure in Deutschland immer wieder 1:1 die Position des Kreml nachsingen. Das ist im Grunde ein Verrat an den deutschen Interessen von so manchem, der so tut, als sei er ein ganz besonders guter Deutscher.
