Bit of downtime back in Bournemouth and I’ve been thinking about how technology has really facilitated access to nature for us recently. The Merlin bird app has really made me actually go on river walks to “collect” new bird sounds, to put faces to sounds, to look around that much more

Reading about cultural capital, some Marxism etc. and I have no idea why we don’t look at cultural hegemony much anymore! That was my jam back in the day so it’s good to see my love of Gramsci hasn’t gone anywhere over the years

Just keep thinking about the FalseKnees comics and how brilliant they are. Not seen another artist able to humanise birds in such a unique way, I can almost *hear* their personalities coming through the pictures 🥺

Seems like the big boys are moving away from X now, at least in the UK! So, I’ll be trying to build up my following on here again, with a bit more of a catered approach…
