@coventrycc.bsky.social can I ask who decided to give permission to shut very busy Long Lane ( Keresley) until 3rd July and divert everyone onto Kingsbury Road only to NOW announce you are shutting Kingsbury Road as of 29th June for 3 weeks , so your diversion will also be shut ? Utter madness

Given the literal definition of deportation is removing a foreigner or noncitizen from the country, we - journalists, media orgs - should probably all stop referring to the ‘deportation’ of a 2 year old US citizen. It’s NOT a deportation.

What some people aren’t factoring into their analysis is the reality that companies were buying tons of inventory to beat the tariffs.
That’s cash taken from being able to invest or hire. In fact the probably cut costs and jobs as a result.
