I swear, there's been a promising-looking new metroidvania dropping every few days this year.

There's a bunch of stuff mis-tagged in there admittedly, but SteamDB says 277 released so far in 2025 alone.

Even trimming that down to be accurate, that'd probably come to ~200.

(some smol lore bit, the wax itself is a mix of honey wax and/or resin, scent herbs and Kul root; a fictional plant, when mixed with the oil of its fruits and "cooked", help soothe and moisturize skin. The incense itself is a bit different from regular incense, it more so is similar to candles, the stick draws in the oil and heats it up [using small runes engraved on the stick] to create the incense. These are usually used for quick makeshift "scented candles" or if you're otti, can't be bothered to buy a candle. The oil itself here is used after hair removal, but bonus use is the nice smell for otti)

i dont want to be in a fandom that critisizes the choices of fictional characters like they are human beings. i want to see THEORY and ANALYSIS and STORY STRUCTURE and CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!! I WANT PARALLELS AND MOTIFS AND VISUAL CUES!!!
