Section 1, of the 14th Amendment:

Outrageous and enraging. Sadly, not surprising given what I’ve read is that most past medical research focused on men and only fairly recently included women, and how briefly med school covers women’s care.
The "lung float" test is being used to charge women with murder. Many experts say it's unreliable.

“There’s no way you can determine live birth versus stillbirth with this test," said one doctor, who called the test “an outrageous breach of science.”

A Lab Test That Experts Liken to a Witch Trial Is Helping Send Women to Prison for Murder
The “lung float” test claims to help determine if a baby was born alive or dead, but many medical examiners say it’s too unreliable. Yet the test is still being used to bring murder charges — and get…

I understand Donald Trump for what he is a buffoon. Donald Trump wants you to be scared. Rather than being scared, I am proud to be a happy warrior for democracy. We all need to have the courage to not back down. Do not obey!

Trump is seizing control of the investigative and prosecutorial powers of the state by staffing them with the most conspiratorial and blindly loyal nominees : Gaetz/Bondi, Patel, Gabbard.

Political retribution is his priority. The rest of governing he doesn’t care about.
December 1, 2024 at 2:21 AM
Not holding my breath as there’s almost no hope the Senate will block Patel and all the other awful nominees after Gaetz. Is there no sense of self-preservation? Making the country less safe does not exclude them from harm even as they try to convince themselves they’re shielded.

💯 This is what I come back to every time someone comments that the voters are idiots. It’s by design. Years & years of chipping away at public education helped get us here.
Which is precisely why the GOP constantly seeks to control and degrade the education process.

If you keep voters dumb and afraid, they’re far easier to manipulate.
Most of our problems could be solved by properly funding public education.

"Don't Engage, Just Block" is having a real effect and you can tell it's frustrating the bots, chuds and trolls. They're in my comments trying everything they can to get people there to react -- and no one's biting. And then I swing by and chuck 'em into the cornfield and that's that.
As long as we keep a culture of disengaging and blocking trolls we actually can probably keep the vibes up.
