I see a lot of people trying to plant a hypocrisy charge about the ICE situation. But everyone needs to be very mindful of the fact that law enforcement officers DO, in fact, think they have special rights above and beyond the rest of us allowing them (only them) to murder us if they feel threatened

my take is that I have never done cocaine but seeing “Vance’s twisted and wrongheaded view of Christianity has been repudiated by two popes” printed in one of the country’s largest Catholic publications hits like I imagine cocaine feels

I have lived and worked in NYC for a long time, including for several years working in the same building as Howard Stern when he was still on K-ROCK and would have all sorts of mega-celebs coming into the building, and I have never seen a crowd like this for someone just going to a studio.
