According to a Yomiuri Shimbun poll, 69% in Japan approve of having an empress again. Japan has had several empresses in its history, but matriarchal succession was banned during the virulently anti-feminist Meiji period at the end of the shogunate.

If you still need to share a link to a tweet, but don't want to send people to Musk's cesspool - replace "x" with "xcancel" in the tweet link.

For example x.com/dril/status/...

becomes xcancel.com/dril/status/...

People will still see the tweet, but without going to Twitter.

the world they want is one where you're either unemployed or work an almost no wage job, you have almost no political input or self determination and you’re happy about it because you can get a t-shirt off temu for a $1
The plan is to crash the economy to suppress wages.

the actual best thing you can do for your mental health the next 4 years is make it a point to not wake up everyday and google the president to see what shit he did while you were asleep. Stay engaged, stay aware stay alert but don't do this, it will not only not help it'll make you feel worse daily

one of the absolute hardest things that we're going to have to do to dig ourselves out of this hole is to reach the men who have gone down this path without validating the deeply fucked up worldview they have built for themselves
I don't think it's true, for instance, that asking women out in person (instead of through the extremely hierarchical and often exclusionary world of dating apps) actually became socially anathema in the late 2010s. But I think a lot of young men started to *believe* that it was.
I don't think defensive reactions like this are helpful, frankly. We're going to have to grapple with the fact that this is the way a lot of young men raised by the manosphere feel, and then figure out what to do about it. Saying "your feelings are wrong" isn't going to change a blessed thing.

I continue to think that we won’t see a 2017-style liberal media addiction/subscription surge. Anger at how the media covered this, no more sense that something could break and end his presidency… I just see a lot of people tuning out for a bit.

twice in recent history, democrats have had the opportunity to move significantly leftward. both times, all evidence indicated this was an extremely popular proposition with an extremely good chance of victory. both times, democrats pulled out all the stops to crush it, and moved right instead.

My vague recollection is that as a teen boy I desperately wanted to read books which were not about teen stuff.
Has publishing abandoned teen boys?
Teen boys can be tempted back to books, but the industry needs to refocus its efforts.
