Heya! I'm Kevin and I'm working on a teaching card game I've been working on since 2003! Hit me up here if you think my stuff is fun!

There's a lot more in store for Justice Fighters. I currently have plans for nearly 500 more cards, but I'll keep you posted as it gets closer to the big day. Until then, this has been your small foray into the wonderful world of my mind and the fun I'm having in there.

I introduced a card a ways back called "Wanna Bet" that lets you counter ANY ACTION by playing Rock Paper Scissors, but if you lose the round of RPS, not only do you take damage, but everyone around you must BOO YOU FOR LOSING. It's a small change, but it's just dumb enough to be excellent.

But then there's cards that are more, I wanna say performance based. Cards that punish your opponents for not doing actions like standing up, or applauding, or apologizing for damaging your stuff. Things that add playful chaos that makes it hard not to smile.

What of two people could be playing WILDLY different games at the same time with the same pool of cards. Then it hits me: serious vs silly modes.
See, Justice Fighters kind of works like MTG and YuGiOh and the same time. There's a way to play with solid combos and builds that work like you'd expect.

I've got to create some starter decks and really get these ideas that I'm going for to pop and amaze a developer next July. There's some incredible concepts that we're cooking up that change the game DRASTICALLY. I come up with an insane idea in the shower:

Next, I take the next 2 weeks and transcribe all the old cards into the new system. I have like, 6 left to type up, but it's coming along smoothly. Typos are corrected, costs adjusted, and humor polished to a shine. So what's next?

Well, I've got a list.

Easy. Go to Calligraphr.com and make a custom font with your handwriting so it feels like you wrote it by hand. It's a small and simple change that takes most of a Sunday evening, but feels amazing. Check it out. Just **Chef's Kiss**

Each card type gets a color to help them stand out. It's a good call. However, Andy points out that the Font doesn't reflect the energy I'm trying to harness in Justice Fighters. It's more "We have MTG at home" than "TCGs like you used to play, but like, if it had a soul and loved you". What to do?

So with the help of the Funnyname brothers, we get some ideas rolling and I pirate Illustrator to have a good vector tool to work with. One day after finishing the redesign their anti-piracy locks in and I love it, but not before getting the files I need. The design looks great. Onward!

During the wedding luncheon, I create a Discord Server and invite a small group of friends and family to collaborate. It goes well and ideas start coming in. It's agreed upon that the font isn't amazing and could use a change. The design could use some sprucing up. It very much feels like MS Office.
