Every system went south at work today, so instead of screaming at the world and giving up we huddle up, taught a new skill and ended the day listening to good music and relaxing. Also, I got to warm my wife up when she was freezing. Hooray!

Found out that my co-trainer at work's husband found out that he is cancer free after 1 year of recovery on a brain tumor he had. It's excellent to see friends have good times in a sad world.

It was a sick day, but it involved so many naps and lounging that it was a win altogether. It's hard to complain on a lazy day like this. I also go to hang out with my siblings while we played Mario Party online. It's a good day.

My parents offered to take my kids to see some snow sculptures in a city near us. I'm glad they got to go (the alternative was staying home and cleaning, go figure), because my wife is sick and could use a quiet house.

Yesterday, a group of trainees in my class were belittled by a person assigned to coach them. Events were brought to the attention of management, and they were handled professionally and swiftly. It's nice when your boss gives a care.

I had to get new tires today, and I found out that Amazon has been consistently increasing our credit limit. Yeah, it's expensive and I hate it, but at least I didn't bankrupt myself getting new tires. It's a win.
