He is a deeply sick man, and has always been. But he is sicker than ever.
The president is clearly unwell. As an American, I find it hard to believe that our president speaks in this way.

Trump is being hurt worst by exactly what hurt Biden. People are broke, and he tells them they're not. In Trump's case it's worse because of grocery prices. Trump says they've never been lower, and that's absurd.

When the party goes from nominating Mitt Romney to nominating Donald Trump in one cycle, yeah, I think a lot of it is about Trump. I don’t think that’s reductive.
I’m not saying it’s not good news. I’m merely stating Trump is not the only issue.

It’s very reductive to say that. He has many enablers and allies in this admin and party who will continue.

I’m merely stating is the focus really defeating him and not the corruption this GOP has normalized?

Usually, JVL is the prince of darkness, but I have to agree with him that we may be seeing the high water mark of Trump here. Consider his evidence:

Trump defends Mohammed bin Salman over the 2018 murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi:

"A lot of people didn't like that gentleman... Things happen... He knew nothing about it."

A US intelligence report concluded that bin Salman personally "approved an operation" to "kill or capture" Khashoggi.

Seems like a pretty straightforward and irrefutable point 👉

"By 2030, he's not gonna be the president and you will have voted to protect pedophiles if you don't vote to release those files."
Massie: "I would remind my Republican colleagues who are decided how to vote, Donald Trump can protect you in red districts right now by giving you an endorsement, but by 2030, he's not gonna be the president and you will have voted to protect pedophiles if you don't vote to release those files."

My mistake has been trying to explain what "fascism" is to people who don't care what it is.

So I'm going to try something else. Let's do this as a practical thought exercise.

If America *were* fascist *today* - what would you have to do differently in your daily life? /1

Trump: I had an MRI and the result was outstanding.

Reporter: Was it your brain?

Trump: I have no idea what they analyzed, but whatever they analyzed, they analyzed it well.

Here's hoping this article on Zac boasting about how he ruined some immigrants' lives follows him around for a very long time.

I honestly thought I'd never afford a house. I got tempted by a condo, and let the younger generation learn from me: That first condo purchase at 32 was one of the stupidest things I ever did. I took a bath, moved, and rented until I was 40.
I wonder if it really is harder to buy a house now. When I was in my 20s the mortgage rates were around 10% and was making less than $25k.

I didn't even consider buying a house.

When I was a senior in college (1982), I found a diner that had a full breakfast for 99 cents, and on Friday, the local fish store did fish and chips for 1.25.
Going on a date to a restaurant could be a sweaty experience.
I married young, first kid young. We were on a set grocery budget and I bought the same thing every week. Dinners were based on a whole chicken and 5 pounds of ground beef.
There was this pizza place down the street that sold $5 carryout, so we'd count change sometimes and get one.

What type of gun is this?

Total cost: $141.
