This is insane. I’m trying to think what the reaction would have been if Mayorkas, DHS Secretary under Biden, had got his security folks to manhandle and shove Tom Cotton or Ted Cruz in this way.

I wish journalists would stop framing political news as wins or losses for politicians or political parties. It’s an abrogation of our mission. Why do we keep doing this? Is the spending bill a win or loss for the American people? Who does it help? Who does it hurt? Is it sound policy? Fiscally?

Weird he was texting him national security secrets, then.
Reporter: Can you share how your information about war plans was shared with a journalist?

Hegseth: So you are talking about a deceitful and highly discredited so-called journalist who has made a profession of peddling hoaxes

I obviously don't know Bragg's family, but personally I'd feel insulted for my family member's name to be used like this. He's not being honored—they pulled his name out of a list of alternatives to intentionally associate him with a confederate traitor and slaver.

Hitler became Chancellor on January 30.

The Reichstag burned on February 27.

The Enabling Act was signed on March 23.

Dachau opened the day before.

This story makes my body shake with rage.

The released water serves *no* purpose now (and is in fact dangerous). But we are likely to need this water, desperately, in the summer.

This is an act of economic sabotage targeted at California. Truly vicious.
