On the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, we thought we'd answer a question that's often asked,

"If they raised the Mary Rose, why not raise the Titanic?"

Allow our scaled diagram to explain...

👀 We just surprised Tesla London with a special anti-fascist product launch. They hated it ☹️

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Has everyone signed and shared this? Please spread the word as the govt response suckssss. 100k signatures and govt will debate it.
Musk is attacking UK democracy, and we need a proper response.

So let’s get this petition going viral, and force a grownup course of action at the highest level.

Petition: Create a public consultation on freedom of speech and disinformation
We believe that lies, fraud, and media toxicity threaten our way of life. We think new mechanisms are needed to preserve confidence. How else can people know what to trust?

From Hags. I'm glad more people are seeing it (even if some of them called me a Karen for writing it two years ago, and probably will again tomorrow)

Genuine question: have we ever had a more qualified chancellor? Brown and Kwarteng studied history, Major left school when he was 15, Lawson and Hunt have PPE degrees (like Reeves).
Almost impossible to imagine a similar article being written about a male (read: any other in history) Chancellor.

One argument in this article includes a man saying her master’s course wasn’t very hard. And that because she ‘only’ got a 2.1 at Oxford, she shouldn’t have got in.

With respect, the voices missing from this, as from so much of the media discussions on this, are those of the terminally ill. I hope my husband’s letter to our MP, asking for support to die with dignity and love, will have more weight than those from folk who are not facing the shit choices he is.

Sigh - classic fact free nonsense. ‘news’ story here totally fails to mention that Tory plans were for fines of £5k (later reduced to £3k) for each missed heat pump sale. What @Ed_Miliband has done is to reduce that to £500. Headline should read “Miliband slashes Tory boiler tax”

I was an economist at the BoE at the same time as she worked there. She was an economist. I walked past her desk a few times a day. I read notes she wrote. Attended the same meetings. The last time I wrote this on Twitter someone replied 'you supported masks and lockdown'.

OK UK Bluesky, how quickly can we get this petition to 100,000 signatures?

An EU-UK Youth Mobility Scheme is key to resetting the UK-EU relationship, would be good for young UK citizens, and is supported by a clear majority of UK voters.

Why do 18 year olds getting the train to school have to pay the full adult fare (even with a railcard)?? Bonkers.
