Stephen Miller and JD Vance say their opposition to immigration is not just gutter racism but concern about the cultures supposedly incompatible with the US.

Then they ban the adoption of non white children.

On that last post: I genuinely cannot think of any good-faith reason to bar international adoptions from those 39 countries. Under this new ban, consulates will refuse adoption visas for any baby from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, or any of the 39 other countries.

Prices in biggest US power grid auction hit new record, signaling higher utility bills ahead
Power bills for about a fifth of Americans are expected to continue to rise after the largest U.S. grid operator, PJM Interconnection, reported fresh record-high capacity prices on Wednesday that reflected electricity demand by data centers overtaking supplies.

- Said that the Refs throw flags that they know are bad to brag to their friends in group chats, and
- Told Adin Ross that he'd do a "covetous jew" celebration on his next TD score

Shockingly, this bill would have failed were it not for the 3 Democrat defections.
Just now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms.

3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers.

4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against.

It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power.

Story to come.

Everything about this is horrifying. These researchers are deliberately deceiving people into doing a dangerous 'therapy' and they don't know anything about the condition they're studying.

At today's talk, I touched on deception in activity management. Some-- often new to the field / to PEM-- will deceptively call their graded exercise program pacing.

Then, I stumbled across this from @sunsopeningband.bsky.social and it's actually worse. 🧪 🧵

🚨My 2025 books of the year🚨

I read a lot of great books this year, but these stuck out the most at year's end.

Trans books make up a large percentage, unsurprisingly.

More trade pub books than usual!

Romance dominates.

Sci-fi is making a run on fantasy!

In no particular order:
