You can never know everything, and part of what you do know will always be wrong. Perhaps even the most important part. A portion of wisdom lies in knowing this. A portion of courage lies in going on anyway.

I believe in what we could be; not in what we have been.

Shamelessly stealing the idea, but show me your Rooks, Bluesky.

One weird thing for someone who's never been very good at building a following is that on bluesky people follow me who aren't bots and I don't know why but that's pretty cool

Feeling burnt out on WoW and GW2 lately, been messing around with @eveonline.bsky.social until Veilguard comes out.

Show me some sweet spaceship content algorithm gods

Fully remote available for any intrepid game makers who don't want to relocate for the 16th time.

Today I saw that my absolute number 1 dream job is available, working for my favorite game studio, as a writer, and its fully remote.

And I've done... absolutely nothing, professionally, to be qualified for it.

That's how my Tuesday is going. Hbu?

If you’re worried about election denial and election certification in Congress, find a House race that is close and help them get out the vote.

The House certifies the election. The House changes hands before the house certifies the election.

Turn the House blue.

Surely there's some kind of middle ground where I can see posts about MMOs I like to play but not pregnant furry art of the characters in them.

As I get older and my parents have retired, they kinda sit around with nothing to do.
I wake up on the weekends and get excited to get out of bed, even when I don't have any big plans, so that I can link up with friends and play games.
That gap I see in them, I don't have. I'm excited every day.
I grew up an only child. I didn’t have many friends. Gaming was a companion. It was the first thing in my life that gave me purpose. And even more than that. Gaming has always been my friend. Life changes a lot. Gaming has always been there.
Here's the hardest "easy" question any gamer could be asked, but I'd like to know...

Why do you truly LOVE video games? 💜

..... let's not talk about it, okay?

My hours played is between me and the endless suffering of my pc runtime.
What games do you have the most hours in?

(I'm estimating most as they are older games and not played through Stream)

Final Fantasy 14: 10.5k
Guild Wars 2: 6k
Final Fantasy X: 1.2k
Final Fantasy VIII: 1k
Koudelka: 500 (at least 50 completions)
Legend of Dragoon: 250 (at least 5 completions)
What games do you have the most hours in?

All of these are rough estimates based on avg. hours of playthroughs I’ve done.

Dark Souls 2: 9k-10k across all platforms
Final Fantasy 14: 2k
Dark Souls and Bloodborne: 1.5k
Final Fantasy 7 & 8: 1k
New Vegas: 500
Elden Ring: 450
Oblivion: 300

Dear Algorithm gods, show me... MMOs, Guild Wars stuff, unhinged gaming hypotheticals, people being funny, and pretty stuff.

Ok...... go
