I really shouldn't be surprised by the federation characters in Prime 4. Nintendo has wanted Metroid Prime to be its Halo/Gears stand-in since Prime 3. I also think it's incredibly suspicious they didn't mention this aspect of it until less than a month before release.

Kinda ridiculous that they didn't greenlight Alien Earth season 2 immediately but its nice that they finally did. Despite a somewhat mediocre finale it's the most interesting Alien thing we've gotten in a long time.

In keeping with my "I randomly play a Mario game" tradition I'm playing New Super Mario Bros. I've always had an appreciation for these honestly. Got kinda tiring by the WiiU but I don't think any of these were bad at all.

I've been trying recently to figure out why I haven't gone back to Final Fantasy 14 after Dawntrail, and while I liked Dawntrail a fair amount.. I think Endwalker wrapped up everything so perfectly that I almost feel content with that being the FF14 experience for me.
