my girlfriend sent me the link to an asmr channel and it was called something like kitten cafe and the channel art was all pastel so i was expecting everything to be all cute and soft- TELL ME WHY ALL THESE VIDEO TITLES ARE LIKE 'Dismembering You ASMR' OR 'Cannibal Farm ASMR (You Are Livestock)'

the fact that we have a vaccine for a type of CANCER is fucking mind-blowing. i was given the hpv vaccine at school as a teenager FOR FREE. humanity is incredible.
What an achievement vaccines are. What a monument to our love for each other it is to stare straight into the face of something as horrific and unstoppable as smallpox or measles or polio or cervical cancer and say “You know what, it doesn’t have to be like this.”
