Is that really unique to TikTok though? Wasn't the same complaint made about FB, Twitter, etc.?
Way back when during the Bush ANG scandal the complaint was that conservatives were way ahead in the blogging sphere. Is the broader issue just conservative affinity for the internet?

Consuming political content on TikTok is associated with being more Trump-y, more pro-Russia, and more antisemitic even after quite strong demographic/attitudinal controls.
From a content perspective R videos get more views than D and also R content is also more effective on per impression basis.
