This is exactly it. I would honestly love voting for anyone who doesn’t seem like one of the bad guys from They Live.

A little more than a third of the way through Richard Evans’s history of the Third Reich, and I’m struck by how easily the good old USA is repeating Nazi party shit without the excuses of a humiliating defeat in a world war, a period of hyperinflation, and the Great Depression.
