Ignoring the specific content here, I’ve always felt like tortured writing is a sign of self-obsession/aggrandizement. You’re not thinking about how to words sound or how well they communicate something, you’re thinking about the fact that the words are coming from you.
i strongly, strongly believe that good writing is downstream of clear thinking and a strong understanding of the subject matter at hand. without fail, tortured writing comes from writers who don’t know and can’t think clearly about anything.
Oh man! This paragraph is brutal. The best thing about this review is it's not trying to be mean. It's just listing how bad the writing is.

Tech giants keep touting a system they built to label AI-generated content. But it only works if everyone uses it.
