Funny how "sources" always talk in dreadful tabloidese
That Radar piece about Bond is obviously made up. The claim that they can't work out how to resurrect him after he's been blown up comes from that old favourite, "a source close to the production". I don't think a team of experienced screenwriters is unfamiliar with the concept of a reboot.

Only three pre-recorded programmes on BBC1 today, Bargain Hunt, Inner Circle and The Wheel
Only just realised that between 6am and midnight today, BBC1 showed a grand total of four pre-recorded programmes, and had nearly 15 hours of live television

The thing about that Robbie performance is that it wasn't a surprise because pictures from it had been in the papers, and one of the flaws of this era of #totp is that anything interesting was flagged up in the press ages in advance

I remember it irritated me intensely at the time that Jen couldn't even get through the first line of this performance without having to take a breath
When me and Daz Sampson built a studio in the late 00s we bought a load of cheap silver discs off eBay to put on the walls to pretend we'd produced them. The one that people were most impressed by was Crush by Jennifer Paige. #totp

"Hi, Missy Elliott? We're trying to launch Mel B as a serious R'n'B artist. Could you feature on her debut single to add some credibility please?"
"Sure, how much do you want?"
*sound of coins on table*
"How much credibility can we get for £27.43?"
"Four lines over the intro"
"That'll do"

The other great thing about Knocked It Off, apart from it being the stupidest record ever made, is that it is clearly his Swap Shop theme played at 33rpm

That second #totp was from the weekend I went back to university, so it was the end of the last summer when I had no responsibilities at all. Radio 1 played Relax by Deetah a million times so I have such fond memories of it

That Pulp performance is the best thing on #totp all year, wonderfully staged and directed. Also the most exciting thing ever shown at number 29

I know there are many similarities between the work of Armando Iannucci and John Morton, but there are enough differences for me to really like Armando's stuff but not really like John Morton's stuff very much at all
