Walz: We don’t need to run government like a business, because we’re not in the profit-making business. We’re in the business of improving lives and looking toward the future.

And second, this guy has a proven track record of being an absolute failure.

Conservatives used to run on promises of order, stability & economic growth. If you look at Dutton, they now run campaigns based on fear-mongering divisive hate-filled racism & bigotry. Why? bc they serve their billionaire fossil fuels industry mates, not ordinary Australians. #auspol #AusVotes25

It was such an incredible honour to receive the Edmonton Public Teachers’ Local Honourary Lifetime Award. There is no higher honour than to be recognized by members of your own profession. Teachers really are at the forefront of change and they know that education is at the heart of every community.

Looking forward to volunteering on Sat, handing out how-to-vote cards for the @greens.org.au at a polling booth in Hornsby. Early morning plus late afternoon shifts. Martin Cousins is the Greens candidate in my electorate of Berowra. He would make an outstanding MP. #auspol #AusVotes25 #BerowraVotes

Trump campaigned on fighting for the working class, and exit polls found that he won 56% of the blue-collar vote.

One hundred days in, the self-styled champion of the working class has delivered layoffs, trade wars and an erosion of worker protections.

Dutton wants to bring back Pezzullo … the guy who helped hand $532M to Paladin (a company registered to a beach shack) & over $1.5B to Canstruct (no trading history) for offshore detention.

Add bribery, visa scams, sex trafficking links, & it’s a rerun of the Dutton disaster.

As @amyremeikis.bsky.social reports - the changes to the environmental laws the govt is about to introduce are F*CKING AWFUL.
They are not just about salmon - but will apply EVERYWHERE

Politically, it very much seems Albanese has over-ruled Plibersek.

My Kingdom and more for anyone to realize that awarding yourself a government contract is not a conflict of interest. It's corruption. When the bank teller takes the money out of the cash drawer and puts it in his pocket that's not a conflict of interest either.

Swalwell: Hegseth is still the Secretary of Defense? This moron texts out our war plans, putting our soldiers at risk, and he’s not gone?

Every one on that chat—they just fire off texts not knowing who is on the chat? They all should be fired if they don’t resign.
