Started to post something very similar. It’s remarkable how much the thug boogeymen the right has imagined rampaging around cities for decades are embodied by these guys.

@qjurecic.bsky.social's piece is a great analysis of history repeating, I'm observing that many who report, research & teach on race/gender or do activism were warning, like @ajbauer.bsky.social said, that history was already repeating before Trump 2.0, under Dems the stage was very helpfully set.
