Star wars fan art from earlier this year. My favorite villains and qui-gon jin. I really love how the cad bane drawing came out!

Is there any star wars character you want to see me draw next? I am especially fond of characters from the clone wars series

Enfys Nest is criminally underused because (adding Oscar Isaac’s critique) any exploration of a family that used a name to fight against corruption and collusion in support of fascism would make Disney squirm throughout the entire creative process

Oscar Isaac is open to returning to Star Wars but “not so open to working with Disney”

“I mean, I’d be open to it, although right now I’m not so open to working with Disney. But if they can kinda figure it out and, you know, not succumb to fascism, that would be great”

When Senate Republicans vote against healthcare subsidies in December that they “promised” a vote on Chuck Schumer is going to write the most strongly worded letter OF ALL TIME!

Breaking news: the party that hates health insurance can’t govern
Rick Scott, Mike Lee and Ron Johnson have not voted. They appear to be negotiating something with Thune in the back of the Senate chamber.

We are at 56-40

Also waiting on Cornyn

Glad I name dropped them in my calls to Schumer as examples of leadership if he needed to find a spine in these trying times.
NEW: Colorado Sens Bennet (D) and Hickenlooper (D) oppose the plan to reopen the government without a deal to extend healthcare subsidies. #copolitics

Really seems like the “deal” struck was just guaranteed egg on Democrats’ face so they can make campaign videos about it later.

Our suffering is their electoral up-shot.
Q: Will you assure House Democrats they'll get a vote on ACA subsidies by a date certain?

MIKE JOHNSON: Ah -- no. I'm not promising anyone anything.

It’s vote time, let’s see who is caving and who still remembers how they got into office. 60 votes needed pass to debate on the bill.
November 10, 2025 at 1:30 AM
Schumer talking now and just rehashing the past 40 days….this is the equivalent of doing a book report by just rehashing the back jacket.

Says he’s voting against the bill, but notably not mentioning his vote on cloture. He pulled this stunt last time.

Sanders speaking and does not like that this vote is happening. Rightfully centers his speech on healthcare.

Say what you will about Bernie, but the guy can at least frame the debate appropriately

Chris Murphy: "There will be pretty substantial damage to a Dem brand that has been rehabilitated if on the heels of an election in which the people told us to keep fighting, we immediately stop... if we surrender without having gotten anything, I worry it'll be hard to get them back up off the mat"

Great work Schumer! You really got the Republicans where you want them! That December vote is a real “gotcha” moment! (Derogatory)

[notably, the ACA subsidies do not go towards what Trump is claiming it goes towards]
Trump: "We'll never agree to give any substantial money or any money to prisoners, illegals. And I think the Democrats understand that. And it looks like we're getting close to the shutdown ending."

“Don’t worry y’all, the people that voted for mass deportations, think other countries pay the tariffs, and that democrats are controlling the weather with chem trails will vote out the Republicans years down the road if they lose healthcare” -Tim Kaine

*IF* Dems cave I can’t wait for the video clips where Schumer smugly says “we did it!” as people boo him from all sides of the political spectrum. And in New York? Where an Affordability candidate just won his mayoral election? Get bent you spineless coward.
November 9, 2025 at 11:09 PM
Left similar messages. Holding out for ACA subsidies and setting for a vote destined to fail is just going to show Republicans they can get away with anything and remind voters that this party isn’t actually in opposition to anything. Spineless
I told Schumer and Gillibrand that a "promise" of a vote on ACA funding from Rs is worth NOTHING. You cannot trust them on ANYTHING. No deal without funding the ACA.

If they cut this deal and ACA funding is cut, they will be responsible for the deaths of people who can no longer afford insurance.

Wild to be reminding “Christians” that their primary text includes multiple instances of Jesus hanging out with like THE harlots of the time and noting that they’re closer to the kingdom of heaven than the rich aristocracy that claimed to know God.
