One episode away from finishing Frasier and from finishing the lil journey I started with starting cheers earlier this year.

My conclusion? Two solid shows that still hold up. Sitcom viewers truly were eating good back then.

Glad I could watch through 22 years of comedic television writing.

help i used a delete sys 32 joke with my supervisor today and i do not think she got it...

tbf, the reason i made the joke is funnier. she was on the phone with someone instructing them how to fix/troubleshoot a phone and she got saying "ok now turn off the phone" and then the lady disconnects...

A wonderfully weird and decidedly horny film, "I Married a Strange Person!" is a unique and underseen gem. A tale of a man who wakes up one day with the power to make his imagination real and the woman who loves him but is, rightfully, worried about her suddenly super-powered husband. Bill Plympton's animation is incredible here, not just in how it is drawn but what is drawn, the dream-like mad lib logic of the world. The very core story, of a couple just married discovering new things about each other and learning to accept these things, is both sweet and a perfect hanger from which to hang this absurdist piece over. Which is good because the film is so relentlessly odd and randy that it could overwhelm, but thankfully it never does so. There is also another plot, of an evil corporate CEO and his company "Smilecorp" are desperate to steal the magic imagination power at any cost, and it all ties in together pretty well. However, it is absolutely the incredible imagination on display in basically every frame that makes this a special experience. There are so many visual gags and bizarre imagery: phones turning into bones when the "line is dead"; a giant blade of grass attempting to mow down a gardener; a giant lizard Nazi being wanked off or a man using a woman's boobs to make balloon puppets. There is an energy to everything which only ever slows down to get weird and uncomfortable before speeding right back into this beautiful mayhem. The animation itself varies from the quite detailed to the deliberately abstract and minimalist, sometimes in the same frame, sometimes frame to frame. It also has a script dotted with lots of funny little jokes and a cast of voice actors who are all doing some great work. Overall, I really loved this. I think perhaps it goes on for a little too long, but I wasn't wishing it to be over and otherwise, this horny batshit film that is bursting at the seams with gleeful, juvenile creativity had me grinning ear to ear. Close up. A man in a suit lays back reclining on a woman's big red lips. Animated. Full shot. A muscular nude man lays on a bed with his crotch arched upwards, riding on top of him is a nude woman, who is spinning so fast she has become a blur. Medium close up. A woman's breast to the right, her nipple is protruding out about a foot and pokes a man in his eye, painfully going into his head, he is grimacing in pain.

Went to CradleCon LI today. Was very epic. The Cradle of Aviation museum means SO MUCH TO ME PERSONALLY! This was my first time going and it was so cool seeing the con set up next to my favorite exhibits <3 everyone was so nice too and I got some good merch:)
