Does anyone else have this anxiety where everyone starts talking about some new political bullshitter and you… have no idea where they came from? Just start hearing a new name and you don’t remember which chucklefuck that one is?

When did this one crawl out of the void? What did they do again?

I just discovered that there’s a gay adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. With M!Preg.

It’s called “Pride and Paternity”.

I don’t know what to do with this information. I just felt I needed to share it somewhere.

I feel so exhausted and defeated at the start of the week. The anxiety build up and stress is miserable. I’m trying to work on things and get better, but it’s just not enough.

I saw Wicked Pt. 2 on a whim.

I have thoughts. I’m digesting the film. I’ll probably post more thoughts as the day goes on.

Generally, I’m positive to it… but it has a lot of flaws. And some are new ones added to an already flawed Act 2.

SPOILERS!

November 20th is Trans Day of Rememberance.

I believe it is important not just to remember our trans siblings or remember why we fight for them- but I’d like to draw the distinction here on why we *need* to fight for them; why we are *remembering* them at this time instead of celebrating with them.

People on FOX News saying grandma doesn't need slippers makes it seem like the economy is very, very bad.

But, Trump is touting that we're in an "economic golden age" and "prices are coming down."

So which is it???

Started playing Avowed finally.

I’m impressed it did something I haven’t seen in other games.

I’m so used to things like sails hung between buildings as paths for parkour that I was surprised when the sails in Avowed instead ripped and dropped me into the street.

Another aspect of Hazbin that I’m more than a little fed up with is the nature and portrayal of “Sinners” as a group within the story.

The story refuses to define its terms here: what makes someone a sinner? This is extremely important for a story that positions itself about “Redeeming Sinners”.

Ok, for a kinda minor thing but it demonstrates the pacing and development issues.

I like Gravity. It’s a good number. I’m enjoying Lute’s descent into madness and revenge.

ALL of her character development is compressed into Episode 2.

Getting kinda fed up with Hazbin Hotel. The first two episodes did a lot to regain my faith that the show could do good things. And E3-6 did a lot to burn that.

“The trees can’t be harmed if the Lorax is armed.”

This is my new favorite slogan and I’m craving this sequel.

Hazbin Hotel S2 E3-4 hit a lot of snags for folks and I think they're correct about them. I'll post some of my own thoughts, but there's one that's bugged me since S1 that I don't think we talk about much and I'm not sure the show is going to address really-

I had the pleasure of seeing Good Fortune tonight. Went on a whim.

Oh my god, best decision to start the weekend. I haven’t enjoyed and had a good time at a comedy so much in a long time.

It’s not perfect- but damn is it way above my expectations of a class commentary comedy in 2025.

People do not understand how much Mexican culture is the perfect breeding ground for goths and horror fanatics.
every time a GDT movie comes out I want to write a piece called Guillermo del Toro Is Mexican, a thing people seem to treat as incidental to his work but is in fact central to his Whole Deal

I’ve been on a bit of a plotting binge lately and researching Hell and sin and damnation. I’m not a religious person, but I think concepts and ideas have value.

I think I disagree with the assessment that pride is the worst. It’s loud and brash and brazen, sure. But I find it’s not powerful on its-

To anyone know who knows me, they know my love of horror movies and supernatural tales.

Every year in October, I try to rewatch a Mike Flannigan show. Every one of them is fascinating and well told.

Tonight I start on what I considered at the time I watched it to be his best work-
