I wrote up a longer piece about scammers pretending to be me, how you can tell it's not me, and why neither I nor any other "big name" author is likely to be emailing you at all, and certainly not with obviously "AI"-generated verbiage. Please feel free to share.

This week I'm reading Lazy Witchcraft for Crazy, Sh*tty Days by Andrea Samayoa.
It's great for people like me who have Osteoarthritis and other health issues.
Not sure I like the word lazy for this. But, I love how they spelled Sh*tty on the cover. Yes, there are swear words. 📚💙🖖

Audible occasionally licenses the work to Brilliance Audio for MP3 CDs (Brilliance Audio is owned by Audible, so it's a little bit of self-dealing there). I'm usually informed about it going into physical media after the fact.
Is there any way to get them to sell your audible works on physical media? I've gotten works of other artists that way.

I don't want to speak ill will against the library...they are my lifeline...but....
The Urban Homestead by Mori Locke reads like it's written by ai...I refuse to promote books written by ai... it's a shame..

I don't actually control the price of my work at Audible, it goes up and down depending on whatever alchemy that company decides to use to move units. That said, if there's something of mine you want below the monthly subscriber price, wait for one of their 2-for-1 sales and get it then.
@scalzi.com can you increase your prices on audible I hate using credit for books that cost less than a months sub and don’t want to give beezy more money.
