"Are you going to wear a mask forever?"

Masks are a tool. When indoor air is clean & transmission is low, the need decreases. But right now? Many places lack good ventilation, and COVID-19 is year-round. A well-fitted mask indoors is a no-brainer.

Google is calling it the “Gulf of America”.Let’s fix it.So search for Gulf of Mexico, click the three dots to the right of “Gulf of America” select “send feedback”,click on the name of “Gulf of America”,then select “ inaccurate content” then select “incorrect” when I asked to describe the issue.
Encyclopædia Britannica will continue to use ‘Gulf of Mexico’ for a few reasons:

-We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S.

-The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous.

I think it's worth repeating plainly that a federal judge halted Musk's federal funding freeze nearly two weeks ago but funds are still very much being frozen in violation of the court order.

Don’t worry - the cost of a dozen eggs is up 700% since last year.

The price of gas is going back up.

And Trump’s tariffs on steel and aluminum will drive inflation upwards while making cars and homes much more expensive.

But hey, at least the plastic straws we never lost are “back” right?!?

I am really frustrated that the press is discussing the destruction of USAID as something that has happened rather than an illegal action that will likely be undone in two weeks when courts tell the world that it was illegal.

Thanks @acog-org.bsky.social for making sure we have the CDC documents that have been in danger!
The American College of OB/GYN’s website is now hosting the critical documents purged by the CDC

This is what every professional medical organization should be doing right now

Dear California farmers and Congressional representatives:
Trump has just literally thrown millions of gallons of #water away that farmers were counting on this summer, purely to brag that he could.
That #cawater cannot be captured or used now by anyone.

As appalling as it was to listen to RFK Jr’s racist thoughts on vaccination, it was refreshing to have them called out in the halls of Congress.

A man with real knowledge and integrity would not claim he can “end the chronic disease epidemic”. If he were being honest, he would say he hopes to put policies in place to start us down a road to reduce chronic disease. But he’s arrogant and ignorant.

Let's be clear: the Medicaid portal went offline because of Donald Trump's orders.

The only reason it is back on is due to outrage from the American people.

Now, they are trying to lie about it.

Medicaid was never taken away from Americans under President Biden.
